The relationship between Gulf countries and Nepal should be strengthened – Dr. Siddiqui

Kathmandu- Dr. Salahuddin Akhtar Siddiqui, the founder of the non-governmental organization called The Mother Foundation, which has been working in various dimensions of international relations for the past five years, has said that since millions of Nepalese youth are staying in the Gulf countries for foreign employment, the relationship between Nepal and the Gulf countries should be strengthened and strengthened.

He said that the Foundation believes that the relationship between India and China should be the same with the Gulf countries as Nepal has. He also claimed that the one-day workshop program on ‘Nepal-GCC relations and cooperation: global geo-political change challenges and possibilities’ will be the first attempt to strengthen the relations between Nepal and Gulf countries. As a preparation for the program, the organization has interacted with the students who are studying foreign relations and diplomacy at the university a week ago.

According to Dr. Siddiqui, it is expected that former ambassadors, diplomats, Nepali experts from Tribhuvan University Department of Foreign Relations and Diplomacy and foreign representatives will also participate in the program. The Gulf Countries Council (GCC) is an association of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain with its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
